Diversey’s AHP technology uses hydrogen peroxide as its active ingredient. AHP is a blend of surfactants, chelating agents, and low levels of hydrogen peroxide. Because of its excellent cleaning performance, AHP technology can be incorporated into products for use in healthcare, education, health clubs, lodging, retail, and industrial facilities.

AHP technology, which contains the active ingredient hydrogen peroxide, offers many benefits:

› The active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide) breaks down to water and oxygen
› An excellent surface safety profile, especially when compared to chlorinated products
› Low odor – does not require added fragrances
› Use solutions are essentially non-irritating for employees and patients.

Diversey and Virox Technologies Inc, who developed the AHP technology, have had this technology available for several years in Canada for surface disinfection and sanitization. Products containing AHP technology are just now being introduced to the US healthcare market.
